The story began when it shows a couple of Apatosaurus, Henry and Ida who work on the farm until the day their children join them. The old brother namely Buck known as a stronger one as well as the sister namely Libby that is know as  the second child but Arlo, the youngest son is weak and full of fear. He can not work as well as his brothers there for he can not mark his foot on the barns of the corn. The day when his father gave him a new job to catch and kill who eat their food supplied He was failed, can not do it, therefore his father want to teach him but an expected accident happen, the flash flood swept away his father and make him dead, because of the accident he is so angry with the wild human child, another day he met him he really want to get revenge to the human child but another accident happend that make them lost. The story of his journey to find the way home is began.

Known as famous as Walt Disney and Dream Works production, Pixar Movie Production also shows the quality of animation such as Monster Inc, Up, Finding Nemo and others. The good dinosaur is a 2015 American 3D Computer-animated from Pixar movie production. Directed by Peter Sohn from Bob Peterson’s original ideas, this movie illustrate the civilization of dinosaur that life as well as human life opposite with human civilization in that time. The young Arlo who meets wild human for the first time that he hate most then become his best friend and have a wonderful journey and unforgettable adventure with him. As well as other Pixar’s movie, this movie also presents a simple story of life, it is just about a journey to go home seems like Finding Nemo with the story of the way to find the lost son. But the emotional feeling of them are closely related. Some scenes make me laughing another make me crying therefor it is kind of family movie. Another reason is the moral value about how to be brave, how to struggle, how to deal with our fear also complete the story line. the other funny thing about this story is the truth that animals are more smart (speaking even farming) than the human itself, therefor we can see other interesting reality even nonsense but very entertaining. The great thing also is the pictures appearance. The picture of the landscape is very beautiful and the appearance of the other animals even it is very animated look but the color or the shapes is very adorable.


Even though there are some reasons also make me feel that “ there is something missing from this movie” it feels like I need some more salt on my soup. According to the ratting, it is about about 6.8 to 10, it means some viewers are little bit disappointed as like as me, this movie is out of my prediction from the first time I see it. The story is not that bad of course but I really want to point out more emotional feeling, if I compare with UP, one of famous pixar’s movie also,it needs more emotional feeling as Up movie. Because the most emotional movie from Pixar is Up rather then Finding Nemo or even Monster inc. The other disappointing point about the violence scenes such as Arlo’s father force Arlo to kill human child or the scene of eating cute civet by other dinosaur. Somehow it feels like we are watching animation for adolescent or adult rather than for kids. The animation is well created but not as excellent as we expected, this must be watched to prove it.

How to Make Buras/Burasa

Burasa or Buras is one of special food from Bugis culture in South Sulawesi, Indonesia . Made by rice and coconut milk which is similiar with “ketupat” and “lontong” even there are special things that make them different such as the way it cook, additional ingredients, and the way it’s wrapped.
